No wonder we can't ignore helping!

The ol' infamously detailed and well known "Ox In The Mire" parable Jesus understood.

How could we just stand by and not lend a hand?

That is such a pre-cross mindset/article.

Before the Cross 1 day per week was reserved for God.
Before the Cross your representative entered the temple to communion with God for you.
Before the Cross, one year in 7 was the year of jubilee.
Before the Cross.

But after the Cross all things are changed.

The temple veil was torn and anyone can have direct communion (as seen at Pentacost)
Every year is the acceptable year of the Lord.

And about the sabbath, Paul says:
Colossians 2: 16-18 wrote:
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. 18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

Mormons don't keep the Sabbath by not quite keeping it on the wrong day and in the wrong way when the point of it has already been met.

That said, there is something healthy about taking a day to wind down and change the pace every so often, maybe even weekly.

Peace

Good for you, and keep your ass out of that mess of proven and maybe needed conviction. It is after all, not necessarily that useful past the point of proving a stout reliance on God, or higher power, or these things requiring little explanation. Pre Moses was a time with no divine law and then came the second period with the 'Law' as Moses arrived until the time of a promised savior, Jesus. With this first arrival of Christ was the belief system to free us from the Law by implementing 'Our Change Of Heart', and we are shown how living along-side the Law, without succumbing to Old Testament ways is finally accomplished.

It's really an easy switch from (The One True Church) Mormonism, to another belief system. Just look how many instances people thought that they weren't buying into another belief system with Atheism. (The old postmormon.org forums is where that all went down, remember?)

When you sacrifice the Idea of the LDS one true church something much much better is going to have to take it's place and when you feel the depth of this real God's love, maybe that was it for you.

I have an ISIS video in strong HD cinematic stereo of the recent execution and beheading of seven young men in Orange jumpsuits. I guess it best shows the extent of full fledged broken thinking.

I'll email it to somebody if they think they need to see it but it looks like barbaric activity from beyond the Renaissance and back into the dark ages but practiced here and now in 2017. It's just really bad, our house rules would not support me linking to it. And, it should be blocked it's really that horrendous.
