The blackbirds are chirping up a storm as they gobble up our pecan crops. So, we're both :titter: "practicing LDS" in that regards! No trick or treaters- we're going out on the town in costume tonight! I'll be a witch

I have my tesla coils all warmed up. My flying ufo is working like a charm. All I have to do is worry about the rain which is expected for tonight. I am dressing up as a Mad Scientist and my friend is going to be my vixen lab assistant. I have to drop the light show as my amplifier needs new tubes and none are available. Happy haunting.

Who else 'dressed up' to either spend a night on the down, or to hand out candy.

I usually pull out my Santa Suit and bells and wish all the kids a Merry Christmas and ask them if they have been good girls and boys. My daughter has forbid me to wear it this year because it brought too much attention to us that she didn't like. This year I have pulled out the half black half orange shirt with a skeleton riding a Harley that says 'Bad to the Bone' in letters that glow in the dark.

Slapped.

How old is your daughter now slappedhard? She sounds like a true conformist. Do most of the kids claim to have been naughty or nice? :titter:

She is 9 years old this year. She is a slight introvert and doesn't like to be the center of attention.

Most of the kids claim to be nice, but then I bring up the fact that they are TRICK or treating and that playing TRICKS puts them on my naughty list. {:-D

Our dog doesn't like Halloween... strangers coming to the door... and he is very protective of me.... so this year I didn't try to answer the door and left a bowl of candy on the porch... One momma came by with two kiddos and dumped the entire bowl into her bag (over 60 pieces of candy).... so I figure: 2 kiddos + all of that candy = one terrific sugar high (unless the mom eats it all! LOL : D )
