Just as a respite from our daily woes, are there any reflections on Good Friday the day Jesus was crucified?

Here's mine: What did I need to do to reconcile myself to God? actually an enormous amount. How do I reconcile the difference? Answer, I can't.

If we presuppose an eternal God, how do we approach Him?

The answer, by humiliation and reverence.

Don't know how you have been taught or how to approach a Holy God, but there is no arrogant way to get the job done.

Easter is on its way, what's coming down? Get yourself ready.

Hey! I've not come across this juxtaposition of humiliation with reverence before and I am not quite clear if you are using it in the sense of humility or being shamed. And the Latin is very close, which gives a lot to think about.

However, what I think is that Easter is about posture.

Responding to love and learning to love better. And that starting with ourselves and having confidence. We are witnessing a great big God.

Happy Easter!
