Anything with a mildly bonkers religious angle plays well in the UK as our established church - the Anglicans or Church of England - is soooo bland & under stated that anything like the goings on in the name of religion by this lot will be viewed with amused bewilderment by lots of people. One of our Queen's title is 'Defender of the Faith': interestingly, this is likely to change to 'Defender of Faith' with the accession of the next monarch. Out of interest, anyone got any stats on numbers of LDS in the UK?
