I lived in Canada for 44 years.
Mormonism was introduced to me formally in about 1997 (although I met my first mormon somewhere around 1979 or so). I fell for flim-flammery for about 8 months. Then, horrified, I disappeared.
I have decided that the black spot needs to be cleansed in a more formal way and hence my joining this forum.

Welcome, Katy Wren. I think we have a couple more Canajuns here.

LOL I am Canadian and part Cree, so I guess Canajun would be a good description for me. Welcome, Katy_Wren.

Welcome Katy Wren....Canajun? Cannuck? Seems every locale has its own vocabulary or descriptors in the spoken words....and Cannucks were part of my early history spent close to Ontario and Quebec Provinces as well...so welcome again to our pond here...I think you'll find the local waters here, warm and supportive of your own needs...

Hi, Katy. I don't think Mormonism is very widespread in Canada. Sorry they managed to snag you but glad you found your way out of the cult. Welcome! I'll be driving past a Mormon church in 100 Mile House, B.C. On Saturday for my annual fishing trip. Should I spit in the general direction of the church for you or just flip it off?

I have decided that the black spot needs to be cleansed in a more formal way and hence my joining this forum. A black and dark bleak spot on all of our past, and quite an interesting part of my history too. One part that is not forgotten, but may one day be removed from the rest of the family. As piece by piece it slowly falls away and to the side.
